"I have been truly blessed with this opportunity to race at this level with some of the most talented drivers in NASCAR" Many fans call Salvatore Iovino such an inspiration by showing his passion towards Motorsports and his quick ability to learn a new style of racing and adapt so quickly this past year. "Coming from the drag racing scene and jumping into NASCAR has been a huge learning experience. I am very thankful for my race team Patriot Motorsports Group, we as a team, are constantly working with each other on a daily basis to get better and better at what we love to do, even while being thousands of miles away from each other. In between race's, Jesse and I spend several hours a day, everyday, working together on our racing simulators, doing thousands of practice laps preparing ourselves for the next race" Jesse Iwuji has recently seen NASCAR success with recently finishing in his first Top 10 at K&N Pro Series Race Orange Show. "Outside of racing our simulators, we constantly make trips back and forth to Meridian Speedway in Idaho and spend days on the track getting as much seat time as possible. It can be hard on you with all the travel, but I am a firm believer that hard work pays off and to never give up." Salvatore Iovino Racing, his Facebook racing page, has shown that supporters continue to root Salvatore on as he progresses through NASCAR closing in on almost 40,000 followers. Several local fans have asked, "what motivates you in your racing adventures" Salvatore responds: "For one, you! My fans are a huge motivation. Knowing you have people supporting you all across the world really kicks you into gear even though the up's and down's. Second, I love to be competitive and I love to get better at everything I put my mind too." One fan ask, "what do you consider your blessing's" "My wife first and foremost. She has supported me at anything I challenge myself in doing and she has always been by my side whether I am losing or winning. The fact that the man upstairs has gifted me with her in my life is a blessing in itself. My Sponsors and fans, if I didn't have people like the Hubble Foundation, Sentry Studios, Hemirace.com, Signarama and Georgia Garage that believed in me and to help pave my way into the NASCAR K&N Pro Series, then most of this would be impossible and I am very thankful for my supporters. Another fan ask, "what are you projections for the rest of the season" "To continue to give back to the community and my sponsors. Continue making charity donations and giving back to those that have given to me. What about racing? The fan ask, "Laughs, oh is that what you mean't? My plan is to finish out the rest of the NASCAR K&N Pro Series season while continuing to push myself to get better and better, I still have so much to learn, I believe the learning process never stops, no matter what you are doing. I also still race in several other events outside of the K&N Series like Modern Street Hemi Shootout. My biggest goals are to always stay positive, even if times seem unbearable, never give up. Racing for me makes me happy, gives me a sense of enjoyment, even if I'm losing, its my happy place.
