Competing in NASCAR is no easy task, not just from a driving perspective but from a business aspect as well. NASCAR is the largest sponsored driven company in the world. Teams and drivers rely heavily upon creating and maintaining new partnerships that are capable of funding the race program, in return receiving brand exposure to millions, creating new Business to Business opportunities from established partners and new partners, creating marketing campaigns, Press Releases, Radio, Tabloids, TV interviews and product/service placement. We are currently seeking new sponsors/partners for the 2018 and 2019 season. We are also seeking students from Universities and Colleges who would like to step in the spot light with Salvatore Iovino and join his journey through the fast lane in NASCAR.

Salvatore Iovino Racing is looking for someone who will actively search and secure new sponsorship deals with companies for the organization.

This person must:
• Have the confidence to be able to speak to businesses over the phone or in person
• Have the drive to be constantly seeking out new opportunities for the organization
• Have great people skills and able to develop strong professional relationships with other businesses
• Have a good knowledge of NASCAR to know who to approach and how to cater their pitch
• The drive to be able to gather all the information they need from the organization in order to provide the best pitch possible.

Under Salvatore Iovino's supervision, what you will be doing. 
• Prospect and secure sponsors for NASCAR races/events
• Create e-newsletters and other publications
• Meet and manage sponsorship sales revenue goals as determined by annual budgeting process
• Create sponsor levels and benefits for new and existing races and events
• Prepare proposals for all potential sponsors and
• Develop and implement activation plans for each sponsor and work directly with Sponsorship Activation Manager
• Establish and maintain good working relationships with sponsors. Be a creditable Salvatore Iovino Racing liaison
• Gather all information (logo, etc.) communicate pre and post races as well as serve as the onsite Salvatore Iovino contact for sponsors, work in conjunction with the program manager for sponsorship needs based on the different requirements for each event
• Develop and deliver fulfillment report for sponsors.
• Manage database with sponsorship information, payments, asks, etc.
• Responsible for creating, distributing, and gathering secured sponsorship monies (i.e. creating and sending invoices, securing payment within a determined timeframe)
• Perform other duties as assigned Work will also be performed away from office, meeting face to face with prospects and clients.

Internship Sponsorship Activation Manager
About this job and What You’ll Be Doing...

The Manager of Team NASCAR Sponsorship Activation will be responsible for the support and execution of certain sports marketing activation programs for NASCAR Driver Salvatore Iovino. You will provide support to multiple Strategist positions within the Activation and Experiential team including day-to-day tNASCAR relationship management, program development and execution, program measurement, budget and presentation support, onsite management at races, agency oversight. This role will interact with internal and external partners in the creation and execution of unique and meaningful engagements at all activations. You will be responsible for the receipt, review and evaluation of external proposals. Partner Marketing / Sponsorship Activation

Pay will be determined after internship if hired full-time

You will work directly for Salvatore Iovino under his supervision as he helps guide you through the process of fulfilling your new position and building your experience for a long lasting career. While working remotely, you shall expect weekly conference calls to go over your progress and progression into your new position. All hours worked will be logged daily for your internship.
 
• Interact directly with key external NASCAR officials and partners as needed to execute programs.
• Manage and execute assigned activation programs independently. Review agreements, make recommendations and provide contract negotiation support.
• Lead contractual review and internal agreement review/signature process.
• Analyze customer and fan data and insights for use in activation program development.
• Provide direction and execute on brand guidelines for all creative and other executions related to our partnerships.
• Research and provide analysis of competitive trends and analysis including data gathering, report creation.
• Manage creative and messaging processes including briefing, creative development and review, agency oversight, print, radio and social assets and deadlines. Lead development of collateral and materials used in experiential/activation locations.
• Support technology integration with team partners including interaction with internal product team and third party vendors as appropriate.
• Analyze and review sponsorship proposals and manage any response or follow up to submitters.
• Communicate and partner with key internal stakeholders to provide strategic direction, understand local objectives and business needs.

• Proficiency in software programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Willingness to travel (approximately 25% of the time) including willingness to potentially work on holidays or weekends during sports events.
